Edna Godwin

Edna E. Godwin, age 86, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Mrs. Godwin was born October 24, 1939 in McKenzie, Alabama to Evie Lee and Verlie Paulk. She worked for many years in the food industry and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her family. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

She is survived by her son, Warren Godwin (Tonya) of Mobile, Alabama; daughter, Brenda Jones of Midway, Florida; grandchildren, Daryl Godwin, Kayle Grayson, Andrew Grayson, Nichole Grayson, Shana Jones, and Debra Simmons; and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Bushfield Cemetery with Rex Tolbert officiating and a eulogy given by James Fallin.
